Supply Chain Management

  • Risk: Supply chain disruptions and supplier non-compliance can cause production delays and lead to reputational damage.
  • Opportunity: Stringent sourcing procedures and strong supplier relationships ensure a stable supply chain, dependable quality, and enhanced corporate reputation.
  • Guided by three key principles: Traceable Materials (rigorous controls to uphold compliance and traceability to country of manufacture), Local Focus (prioritising local sourcing for administrative and operating expenditures where commercially practicable), and Sustainability Collaboration (progressively extending sustainability expectations to suppliers, contractors, service providers, and consultants).
  • Existing and prospective suppliers are evaluated objectively against defined criteria — material quality, reliability, lead time, and cost competitiveness.
  • Social and environmental considerations are factored into sourcing decisions, alongside communication of ABAC and Whistleblowing policies to the supplier base.
  • Given the nature of the business, raw materials are procured overseas, while administrative and operating purchases are sourced locally where commercially sound.
